Back on my Wii, I purchased Kirby 64 on the eShop, where I was able to use a GameCube controller to play using the adapter. Now I purchased it again for my Wii U. I have the proper adapter and controller, but my GameCube controllers will not work for this game. I already confirmed that they work for Smash Bros Wii U. I found on some websites that the GameCube controller should work for this game, and on others that they will not. I just want to know whether or not you can use GameCube controllers for this game, or if I need to purchase a classic controller. I know you can't get refunds for virtual purchases, so I'm really disappointed that it's non-responsive to the GameCube controller.
